Kitchen Ideas :

Fruit only stays fresh for a few days on the countertop. Buying an inexpensive hanging fruit basket can extend the life of your fruit.
Pour a cup of baking soda and dishwashing detergent down your drain and run your garbage disposal once a week. This will prevent bad smells and clogs in your plumbing.
Keep an open box of baking soda in your freezer and fridge to absorb odors and keep them fresh. Most boxes will also have a chart that tells you when to replace the baking soda.
